Additionally, many of the exhibitors are family-owned businesses.  And that family dynamic is what makes sets the North Florida Home Show apart from others. Family is a priority for everyone at the show, all the way down to the show’s new organizers.

A family-run business, RR Events brings more than 65 years of show management experience between this all-family team. RR Events LLC put together last year’s show for the first time, but they bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to this event. Lead by Samantha Wickham Schreck and Melanie Wickham, this daughter/ mother duo combines varied talents with the a lifetime of understanding. Creative and organized, Samantha is the go-to-team member who turns ideas into dreams, and seamlessly manages exhibitor needs with show priorities. She calls on her experience as an event planner for a nonprofit retail association, event coordinator for high-profile charity events and retail manager for her family’s agri-tainment farm business to get the job done.

Detailed and perceptive her mother, Melanie, is busy solving issues before most people even see them. A background that includes management of a major outdoor farm show that hosted 60,000 visitors and 600 exhibitors has uniquely prepared her for navigating this new venture. They both work as an exhibitor and visitor liaison for other shows that the team manages. The 3^rd component of the team is Drew Wickham. Husband and father, he’s the quiet, stealthy member of the team keeping things in line behind the scenes. In addition to handling budgets and logistics, he is the manager of the twice-annual Central NY Boat Show which is host to more than 100 exhibitors and 15,000 attendees. Together they run an agri-tainment farm operation that provides fall fun and memories for countless families every fall.

This team may be from the Finger Lakes region of upstate NY but they have proven they are motivated and inspired to work with Florida businesses to bring area residents a premier home show. Connecting businesses and homeowners with ideas and solutions to make their dreams a reality is a dream come true for this family team.
